With the advent of Trust Law and the rapid accumulation of national wealth, the Chinese trust business has a growing potential. Since the necessary social and economic conditions for the development of our trust business were mature, our company has seized the opportunity to gather our strength to develop this into a major business.
With the help of other departments, the Trust Business Department put emphasis on innovating business type and products, conducting comprehensive marketing and research. Firstly, they developed various kinds of trust services. These included security investment trust, structured finance trust, monetary market trust, beneficiary right transfer trust, general loan trust, equity investment trust, MBO trust and so forth. The structure of the trust business was optimized. Moreover, they began to own the capability to design cradle to grave fortune arrangement programs for customers. Secondly, they established new agency channels, and they deepened and broadened their relations with customers. The Trust Business Department actively disseminated trust knowledge in all circumstances they could. They offered VIP first class services, organized large-scale product promotion activities and explanation meetings and so forth. Thirdly, the Trust Business Department regularly published research reports on the macro-economic situation. They focused on key industries such as real estate, port, retail, energy, high-tech industry and so forth. This was done in order to offer their customers more and better investment directions and analysis. Through a series of innovations, they have already set up a broad network of customers. They followed the principle of ＾honest, credible, cautious and professional￣ and went all out to protect interests of their customers. They also tried their best to spread trust knowledge, manage trust risks effectively, use trust vehicles flexibly and manage trust assets cautiously.
Our company made outstanding achievements in the trust business in 2005. Trust projects under management amounted to 64. In 2005 31 trust projects terminated timely and the total amount repaid reached RMB 1.81 billion. At the end of 2005, existent accumulated trust assets amounted to RMB 4.75 billion. This represents a 138% increase from 2004. The total trust revenue reached RMB 25.38 million.
Our trust business grew in size and brought about new perspectives and great social impact. It established an honest and conservative social image in the public. In 2005 the click rate of our company¨s website increased rapidly. This amounted to more than 50 thousand. Furthermore, our VIP customers have reached several thousands.
