◆ Established on August 24th,1982, initially named “Shenzhen City Trust & Investment Co.” with a registered capital of RMB 51.83 million.
◆ Name changed to “Shenzhen International Trust & Investment Co. Head Office” in 1984 after approval from PBOC was obtained which saw SZITIC became a non-bank financial institution. Registered capital was RMB 100 million. License to carry out foreign currencies services was also obtained.
◆ Name changed to “Shenzhen International Trust & Investment Co.” in 1991. Registered capital increased to RMB 280 million including foreign currency capital of USD 12 million.
◆ Trust services license was renewed in February 2002 by PBOC. Registered capital further increased to RMB 2 billion. Name changed to “Shenzhen International Trust & Investment Co., Ltd.
◆ On December 28th, 2002, SZITIC reached an agreement with “Shenzhen State-Owned Supervision & Administration Commission” to become one of the five organizations authorized to operate and manage state-owned assets.
◆ On March 14th, 2005, Shenzhen State-Owned Supervision & Administration Commission became the controlling shareholder of SZITIC.
◆ On October 17th, 2006, SZITIC introduced strategic investor. China Resources Co.,Ltd. became SZITIC’s controlling shareholder. Registered capital increased from RMB 200 million to RMB 263 million.
◆ Financial license was renewed in October 2008 by CBRC. Name changed to “China Resources SZITIC Trust Co.,Ltd.”.
